GURU
GURU was created in Mysore in the year 2008, the inspiration for this work comes from “Johns” grappling with the notion, ‘guru’ signifying gratitude to the masters of arts and yoga with whom he’s had the privilege to work and learn from. As with the iconic art of prem and yoga, guru works are often coupled with retellings from yoga sutras, opening and closing mantras.
