PREM
PREM means love in Hindi and Sanskrit, and was created in Mysore over a six month period in 2007. The inspiration for this work comes from the visiting Yoga student community of Mysore, the artist’s asana practice, Rangoli Patterns, the temples of Hampi, Nandi Bull on Chamundi, the OM symbol and the protective mask of Chamundi that guards the home of the artist in Mysore, India.
